EVCA website

The EVCA (European Private Equity and Venture Capital Association) represents the private equity industry across Europe. The EVCA website is the primary tool for engaging and communicating with a diverse mix of members and wider stakeholders. We worked closely with the EVCA team to design and build a dynamic and responsive web platform to meet a complex mix of needs.

Engaging a diverse mix of audiences

The EVCA has many different audiences to engage about private equity and venture capital across Europe.
Key stakeholders include its members, large (and not so large) investors, regulators and policy makers, entrepreneurs, the media and the interested wider public.

A modular, portal-based approach enables the EVCA to meet this mix of needs in a flexible and dynamic way through one website.

Developing the brand digitally

The EVCA brand is continually developing to meet its audiences’ needs. The site needs to reflect this ongoing evolution, with flexible and simple applications that are easily refreshed and updated.

The interface design continues to build greater consistency and recognition for this fresh approach to the brand.

A dynamic, responsive platform

To meet the mix of different needs, our ambition was to make the website a one-stop information and resource centre for all audiences, whoever and wherever they are, and whatever platform they are browsing on.

To achieve this, the site uses a dynamic modular structure which means the wide range of different content can be viewed consistently on any device.

Finding content fast

The site provides a rich mix of publicly available content, which is supplemented by member-only material. The site structure needed to accommodate this, making all content easily accessible to users, and easily managed by the EVCA.

Through detailed IA/UX planning we created a simplified, intuitive navigation structure which accommodates all content needs, enabling all users to access what they need quickly and easily.

Making the complex easy to use

Owing to its depth and mix of content, and its varied functionality needs, the site presented a range of technical challenges.
In addition to the dynamic CMS and responsive interface, the build included full CRM integration and a mix of rich media content and jQuery interactivity.
CRM functionality included integrating all event promotion, information and booking processes, and member communications.
